Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Forthcast demand-forecasting and inventory-planning app for Shopify. By installing or using Forthcast, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

Forthcast reads authorised Shopify store data to produce store-wide forecasts, reorder alerts, safety-stock guidance, and draft purchase orders for merchant review. Forthcast does not place or send orders for you.

2. Accounts and Access

You need a valid Shopify store and must approve the permissions requested during installation. You are responsible for your Shopify account, the people you authorise, and the business decisions made from app outputs.

3. Trial and Shopify Billing

Forthcast is $19.99 per month at the current flat rate, with a 14-day trial and no per-SKU fee. Billing and charge approval run through Shopify; you do not give card details to Forthcast. The amount and trial shown in Shopify's approval screen govern the charge you approve.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful or deceptive material, infringe another person's rights, or use the service for an unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

Forthcast's original software, site content, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain rights in data and material you lawfully supply and grant the limited permission needed to operate the service you request.

6. Product-specific Responsibility

Forecasts, reorder points, lost-sales estimates, supplier lead-time guidance, and draft purchase orders are decision-support outputs, not guarantees. You remain responsible for reviewing them and deciding what, when, and how much to order.

7. Service Disclaimer and Liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

8. Suspension and Termination

You may end app access by uninstalling Forthcast through Shopify. We may restrict or suspend access when these Terms are violated, security is at risk, or restriction is required by law.
